sometimes i just feel like this kid that draws a picture of her dad and she shows him with a smile across her whole face: "i drew you a picture, you see there, that's you" but the picture doesn't actually reflects how the dad looks but he loves it anyway. and i feel like that when i try to explain god to people. when i try to figure out for myself what he's like. 'cause words don't do justice to his greatness and love. in norwegian we got a saying that goes something like this: god can't be explained, you gotta experience him. and that's one of the reasons why i love worship. it draws down god's presence so that people can experience with him. and of course we can meet with him in everyday life and feel his presence when not in church. i've got heaps of stories. but there's also something special when god's people gather in faith and just come before his throne to lift up his name. and people notice. they do..
